Nick Antonyszyn was looking for the perfect car to suit his needs and personality. When he stumbled upon the 2002 GTI 337 Edition, complete with Recaro seats, special trim, and a lip kit from factory, he knew he was on the right path. On a spirited drive on the highway, the heater core hose blew and it forced Antonyszyn to fix the issue. After getting his hands dirty for the first time, on his very first build nevertheless, it wasn't soon after that he began modifying his limited edition GTI in his garage even further to be everything he wanted it to be.
