Richard Dzao proudly stands alongside his 2001 Honda Accord.
“Having a 6th Generation Accord, especially a sedan, is not your typical car a person would modify,” explains Dzao of his choice. “…Since having the Accord I’ve learned to build a show winner, not only to separate myself from others, but [also] to prove a point that any car can be a show car.”
These accolades include three separate Best Honda awards, two from 2015-16 Hot Import Nights, respectively, and the third awarded by the 2015 Aloha Custom Car Show & Cruise.
Under the hood, Dzao chose CT Engineering to boost the horsepower. To achieve optimum ride height and overall stance, a Kustomz Unlimited EAI air ride system with Accuair E-Level air ride management were installed. The Accord also sits on Weld CCW 505A Hybrid Series wheels wrapped in Hankook Ventus V12 tires, complemented by a Wilwood Big Brake Kit, drilled and slotted rotors and EBC Redstuff brake pads.
The exterior and interior are also dressed to the nines, but the fun doesn't stop there. Dzao has additional plans to instal Chibi Cars custom airbrush panels, custom pulleys and more even more carbon fiber parts — including custom door handles!
