Vinny Nguyen: 2013 Scion FR-S

Vinny Nguyen was always into cars growing up, but he didn't get involved until late 2018. One of his main inspirations to getting this 2013 Scion FR-S was KingsMustRise (AKA Birdy or Randy) from Lost Royalty, which he happened to randomly stumble across on YouTube.     Nguyen bought the FR-S towards the end of 2018 at his local dealership just before school started.

"It was always a dream of mine to have something that stands out, is unique, and inspires others similar to how I was inspired by one build," Nguyen expresses. It was also a way to express his creativity by using his car.     YouTube tutorials helped him greatly while building and maintaining the car. A lot of people on the forums also helped as well. "I met a few of my close friends through the forums as well," mentions Nguyen. Other individuals who helped him were people who he looked up to in the local car scene which also motivated him to progress. "Some of those also became great friends of mine today."

The KingsMustRise FR-S inspired him to build his very own FR-S. "I guess it was a foundation for my early modifications, however, throughout time, my visions for the car had differed." Currently, he looks up to people such as @imnotlow, @mallet_frs, @heyhentai and @baonguyen_dc5 on IG for his builds.

The FR-S is his very first build but some could say that the first car he modified can be considered as one. It was a 2008 hand-me-down Nissan Sentra with LED bulbs and window visors.
