Hard to pick just one, here's three:

  • Recaro interior. Being a child of the 80's I love the bright, obnoxious, fabric styles that came out of Japan. Maybe it's nostalgia and taps into those early memories of riding the bus or sitting in a Taco Bell. The Recaro SR4 Rainbow seats are one of my favorite mods on this car not only because of the pattern but the story behind it. I had purchased the front seats from a Malaysian company that refinishes classic Recaro's. Taking a chance I waited almost half a year to finally see if they would show up. Shortly after installing them and posting photos in Instagram I had a friend and fellow GTR owner reach out to me. When he imported his GTR his rear seats came in the SR4 Rainbow fabric but with OEM front seats. Not knowing if he would ever find matching front seats he threw the rainbow set in storage and sourced an OEM rear seat. When he explained this to me it was another pure case of fate and timing. We arranged a time to meet up and I now have original Recaro SR4 Rainbow matching interior from a GTR in Japan. I've since re-wrapped the door card inserts in the Recaro black pineapple fabric to match and tie it all together.
  • Wheels. With this build I have always looked to find something that would set me apart from the rest of the GTR's in the world. Now TE37's and GTR's are not uncommon in the slightest, in fact it's pretty common to see a GTR on a set of TE37's. However, this set that I came across happened to be one of a kind. These are the old style Volk TE37's that came off a race car in Japan and had a custom sized offset at 18x9.5 +2. The wheels were imported and refinished by Senei 6 in the classic bronze color. Sometimes its the little things.
  • Titanium! I love titanium, and I have to say to round out this short list it has to be all the awesome work done by RK Titanium. The amount of work that went into the engine and engine bay would have been for nothing if Rob didn't put his artistic finishing touches on it with the titanium piping, shields, braces and brackets. When I pop the hood of the car it is always one of the first things that people comment on or ask about. The coloring that we went with ties in all the powder coat and paint work and really brings the entire engine bay together. This is also a perfect opportunity to plug a great friend and teammates home grown business. Check out!
