IMPORTFEST: TORONTO - STAGE 3

In Stage 3 of the Tuner Battlegrounds award category competition at Importfest (Toronto, ON), the voters have selected 2 (two) competitors to advance from Stage 2 (scroll down to see HISTORY)! Seed No 1. Saiss Parthipan (2012 Hyundai Genesis) will be battling for votes against Seed No 2. Alexandre Bouchard (2007 Subaru WRX). Similar to Stage 1, voting is enabled online but this time on Instagram and Twitter. To vote for your favorite competitors in Stage 3, create a new post on Instagram and/or Twitter (use a photo or video of his/her vehicle) with the announced hashtag (below) in the caption field. Only 1 (one) new hashtag mention will be counted per user. Edits to old/existing posts to include a competitor's hashtag do not count as a vote. Only public votes count. Stage 3 voting polls will be open Saturday, August 26th between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM EDT, and the winner will be announced during the award ceremony. Now it's your turn to make a difference! Your vote matters!

In Stage 2 of the Tuner Battlegrounds award category competition at Importfest, the voters have spoken and selected 4 (four) competitors to advance from Stage 1! Now in the Battle Stages, in BATTLE 1 we see Seed No 1. Saiss Parthipan (2012 Hyundai Genesis) against Seed No 4. Alexime Vu (2007 Nissan 350Z) and in BATTLE 2 we see Seed No 2. Alexandre Bouchard (2007 Subaru WRX) against Seed No 3. Peter Giuffre (2010 Honda Accord). The voting polls for Stage 2 are open between August 24 @ 12:00 PM and August 25 @ 12:00 PM EDT, and the winner of each battle advances to Stage 3 (the final round), displayed in the PASMAG booth at Importfest, and closer to winning an exclusive print feature! PASMAG is proud to announce its partnership with Importfest at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (255 Front Street West, Toronto, Ontario M5V 2W6) on Saturday, August 26, 2017 (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM EDT). A Tuner Battlegrounds #TBGLIVE competition will be added to the event as a unique award category, similar to a "People's Choice" award. Only pre-registered and confirmed competitors of the event are able to participate and join this online, bracket-style, head-to-head challenge on www.tunerbattlegrounds.com. Rather than PASMAG staff selecting the winner of the #TBGLIVE award category, this responsibility falls on YOU - the automotive enthusiasts, fans, show-goers and friends and family of the competitors and/or event. With a click of a button (voting is enabled via Facebook) or creating a new post with a designated hashtag (Instagram, Twitter), the audience will be able to vote and select their favorite competitor(s) from stage to stage (rounds). The winner of the #TBGLIVE award category receives an exclusive print feature in PASMAG.

HOW TO ADVANCE TO THE NEXT STAGE?
When the Battle Stages begin, competitors must obtain votes on www.tunerbattlegrounds.com. Rather than PASMAG staff selecting the winner of the #TBGLIVE award category, this responsibility falls on YOU - the fans, show-goers and friends and family of the competitors and/or event. With a click of a button (voting is enabled via Facebook) or creating a new post with a designated hashtag (Instagram, Twitter), the audience will be able to vote and select their favorite competitor(s) from stage to stage. At the end of each stage, the competitor with the highest number of votes will advance to the next Stage.

HOW TO VOTE?
In the elimination stages, visitors to the Tuner Battlegrounds website simply log-in with their existing Facebook account credentials using the integrated Facebook Login widget. Once logged in, visitors can vote for their favorite competitor(s) by clicking the star on the top of a competitor profile page when enabled (see Schedule). Voting is limited to 1(one) vote per Facebook account per 24 hours of the posted qualified competitors.
